I love you....... shoes...

ZadehKicks is having a Fire Sale. But when I say Fire, I literally mean it.

A few months ago they had a fire in the warehouse. None of the shoes were truly ruined. But sprinklers went off and there was smoke. So after a special treatment given to all the shoes, they came back and he is able to sell them. However, due to their "damage" (absolutely perfect shoes .... but insurance considers them damaged) he cant sell them for full price.

Zadeh's girlfriend, is one of my best friends! She needed me to take her daughter down to the warehouse which is just over an hour away. I agreed to do it and then she told me I could have a free pair of shoes. This was like giving me crack! I would have done it without the shoes, but lets just say that having 3 kids in a car whom havent seen each other in months and would no doubt make a TON of noise and drive me nuts. The shoes were going to make the drive much easier.

I got down there and was in absolute heaven. Just imagine something you LOVE.. and being in a warehouse with rows upon rows of those items in every variety you could possibly imagine. Furthermore... you get to pick one thing for free.. and get a hefty discount on anything else. The perks of having super cool and giving friends!

Anyway, I have no idea how long I browsed. It seemed like ages, but that may have had something to do with the fact that I was starving and really wanted to eat. Either way I finally found two fantastic pairs of Nike Free's.

I sort of knew what I was after, specifically Free's. In part, because I am working on becoming more fit. So my mission was successful! I walked out of there with two pairs of shoes and an extra pep in my step!
