A little story about my closet -

Let me tell you about this nightmare -
My house is old, and the previous owners decided to add on to the second level off of bedroom 1 and 2. This not only created two additional rooms but a carport as well.
So this room off of the master bedroom is roughly 11 feet by 14 ft. One would say... PARADISE! Which is what I thought. But I was 23 when we bought this house and like most people in their twenties.. you dont have a lot of extra cash. So... I placed two dressers in there, and my husband put up racks and shelves spanning more than half of the room.
Well, I am a bit of a neat freak, who is ADHD. So this is a bit of an issue. I like everything tidy and organized. However, if I do not have the proper tools... it turns into a huge mess.
Well needless to say my closet is a huge mess. It has been a huge mess for over 10 years. My plight is, if I have a fancy expensive closet system... it will be clean. My husband takes up camp that, if I wanted it bad enough, not only would I clean it up so he could install it. But I would also prove to him that I could keep it clean. Well lets just say... my closet is this frightening.
Beyond the mess that is in there.. I am a bit of a collector of shoes and clothes. Ok, I will be open and honest and say that I may have just a tiny shopping problem. This comes to light each time my husband braves my closet for something and finds a pair of jeans strewn across the floor with tags on them, or a pair of shoes in a box that havent even been opened. The real problem is... sales. I simply cant say no. I cant.. if it is a good deal.. I MUST buy it now. Because it wont be that price forever. So in December I may or may not have gotten 4 pairs of shoes. Maybe 5 now that I think about it. But until that 5th pair came to light.. I cant only recall two pairs of them. I know there is more.. because I remember when UPS showed up discreetly trying to smuggle them into my closet like a drug lord.
Anyway.. I have decided in the year 2015... that it will be my year to De-Clutter. That includes my closet. More importantly if I am going to get the closest of my dreams... I am going to have to grab the bull by its horns and get it done. So, wish me luck on my endevours!
(One day my closet will look like this)
