Bring It On!

It is officially summer! The beginning of my busy season, as well as the BEST TIME OF THE YEAR!

Despite my crazy schedule, I still manage to spend as much time as possible outdoors enjoying my space, and friends. Sometimes this includes work, but most of the time this is play!

I was able to get one of my BFF's hired to work with me. Furthermore, she is a distributor for It Works with me as well!

Needless to say, we get to spend a lot of time together, working! I couldnt ask for a better partner in crime.

Beyond that, I love that we can just sit outside in the comfort of my home and work together with a glass of wine.

Seriously, I am lucky, and I know it! But it just makes me so happy!

Tonight we are hosting an online party!

Even more exciting is the pool. In Oregon we dont have in ground pools. I mean, we have them.. they are rare tho. Seeing how we only have like 3 months out of the year to actually use them. Most everyone puts up pools each summer. We bought a pretty nice one last summer. It was a total life saver. However, we dont usually have the need for a pool until late July when the weather finally warms up enough to justify getting in one. Again, with the weather being so mild this year. We were able to put it up in early June!

Added bonus is of course... an extra long summer. Surely this does not surprise anyone, in regards to the happiness it brings.

Anyway... pool drinking, deck drinking, tanning, relaxing.. what more can a girl ask for?

Do I work from the pool sometimes, you bet! In fact that is my second favorite place to work from. Tho I have yet to find an adequate way to bring my laptop into the pool.

This is still something I am pondering. But I am known to be a bit accident prone. So you can see why I might be apprehensive about it.

Working from my tablet just isnt the same, and frankly, I think it would take me twice as long to complete my tasks. So I just manage business from my cell phone when I work from the pool.

Perhaps I will find a table to put outside of it, to work that way. Hmmmm food for thought.

Something I havent done in a long time is painting. I used to love to paint. In general be creative.

My deck has really giving me that space to feel creative and encourage following through with my creativity.

So I have taken it upon myself to pull everything out and start painting again.

Let me tell oyu, all of those fancy Christmas lights have given me the light needed to do that as well.

I cant exactly get my creativity on when my kids are up. So I wait until everyone is in bed.. then I can really lock it down.

So far summer has started off on the right foot. I would say so far I have laid the tracks for one of the best summers I have ever had.

I am really looking forward to what else is in store!
